after I have watched a short movie on simpletruth.com about appreciation, I felt guilty. Its because I am the type of person who is shy on saying thanks or appreciating people specially on my family. Its kind of “not me” I feel. I am also irritated of the side comments.(hehe) But come to think of it, it is just natural to say thank you to people who maid things in favor of you. Appreciating them would make them glad and feel important. You could get closer to them by doing this.

The movie I watch was of a international speaker who was in a seminar with some people, she said, Think of a person you are longing to appreciate, Think of the things they have done for you that made you not ever forget them. At the end of the event, a man was motivated to appreciate that person he said to the speaker. He decided to track down her teacher in literature. When he finally tracked her down, he sent her a letter of appreciation. It wasn’t long when she replied. On the letter she said ” I have never received ANY letter from any of my students before, I just live in a single room and all my family and friends are all gone. I am just alone now. Thanks for making me feel better, I will treasure this and reread this always until I die.

Its kinda sad that we don’t really know how other people feel. Even those ones who are silent and those who are loudly enough and cheerful. We will never know how they really feel. Sometimes they just masked themselves with happiness so that we would not notice their burdens.

Appreciation come from various forms. It could be a simple “thank you” or a simple gift. Its not the tangible things that makes you fell appreciated, Its the moment you stood up or the words you wrote that makes them feel they are recognized.

Its really hard to do but its a necessity I should say. Find time to thank the people who touched your life and say the things you want to say before it too late…

On my forums on friendster.com, I crossed path with a fellow poster who is an Atheist. At first I didn’t know he was like that but when he made a topic entitled “Di 2ngkol sa Dota” inside that was a question “naniniwala ba kayo kay god?” (not even pertaining to “God” but I know what he wants to say). Before anything else, let me show those who don’t know what is the meaning of Atheism. I also have a classmate who is an Atheist as to what I see.
Atheism:

-as a philosophical view, is the position that either affirms the nonexistence of gods.

As you can see, they don’t believe on God. They don’t believe in entities to be exact. Science is their basis. All their explanations came from it.

here is the thread.

http://www.friendster.com/group-discussion/index.php?t=msg&th=1060483&start=0&

Before the word “Atheist” was unknown to me. I hear it at some times but ignores it but I was left with wonders what it really means. The discussion interested me because I would see how far I know God. How far I could define my faith.

Atheist are not anti Christians (IMO). As to what I can see (they say this also) they just don’t “believe” in God. I visited the group of them named Pinoy Atheist. There I read some of their own understandings  about life and others.  Their reasons of not believing in God is because Science could it explain it. I can’t express what I want to say really but how could this people retrieve back their faith? Is there something I could do? And some questions I want them to answer.

If faith is just a chemical reaction in us, how could you say you believe in Science? (did you get the idea?) let me make it simpler.  Why do you have faith in Science if you say Faith is just a “chemical reaction”.

What made them Atheist?

I have faith in God. My faith is not that strong but I want to make it energize me and feel proud to be a follower of God.  I am just feeling something in my heart that I am doing something wrong. The feeling that I lacked something to do.  Please help me.

@uncle Jun

that is why you saw me surfing the Net with a tab with Atheist. And sorry too I didn’t ask for authority to net. I also read articles about Gospel of Judas. That is all. I am just exploring. Hope you understand ^^

Learn what you need to learn. I got it from a friend. Makes sense to me. A lot of us don’t really know what we really need to learn. We just go to school and go to class and go home. That’s it. Seldom do we demand for knowledge. We think asking for it makes us dumb but in reality, its the opposite.

When I studied my first short course on DBTC, I was  ask by them what I want to learn. I appreciated what they did and seldom would anyone offer that. It is nice to study in class that you are interested in. It gives you more excitement because you want to learn that.  Its a powerful tool you can use. Asking is the key. Of course ask those with the knowledge. Maybe you want to learn how to dance and you ask a plumber how. Learn what you need to learn.

When you found your mentor, follow his advices. For sure, he won’t bring you to any harm and maybe his advices are kinda tough but mentors know best. He is a pro on that league. He knows the pros and cons. Trust him. /no1

Following tips from mentors are tough at first. It requires you to be diligent and more energetic. My mentor wants me to be more energetic (kinda slow in moving) and be mingle with the family.  I lack self motivation and diligence. Treasure valuable advices and be punctual on tasks given. I admit i have not followed some of my mentors tips. That is why I lost valuable wisdom I could have consumed. But its not too late (I think).

I have learned what I need to learn. But I want to learn more.

Say No to the Good so you can say Yes to the Great.

We can never know the great things in life if we would just settle for good things. If you can achieve higher than being good, Why not hustle for it? If you know good things but you have greater ideas, why not try it? You can never know how great you are if you are contented with being good. Maybe the risks of being great are bigger but if you succeed, you will be filled with overflowing happiness. Don’t you want to feel that?

Abraham Lincoln said “Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle”. As to my understanding to this quote, good things come to those who wait. But GREAT things come upon to those who hustle. There is a huge gap on greatness and being good. Greatness come upon those who threw up being good.

EN OW stands for NO(hehehehe) . I just made the the title a little twist to make it catchy. I know a lot of my blogs aren’t that interesting (T_T). But for the sake of expressing myself (which is that counts) I’ll do it. I am aware that all my writings have the same approach. Yah, feel tired of repeating the same tactic. I will just try my best for the next ones to be more interesting so better stay tuned. (LOL)

It is so hard for some of us to say no  on things we know are wrong but we like doing them (got it?). Habits that bring us temporary happiness. Because a lot of us are lonely inside, calling for somebody to make us feel better. This is where the things we thought are “good friends”. Alcohol and cigarettes are to name a few. A have a friend who is not a smoker but because a broken heart (LOL) he tried smoking. Now, I don’t know if he stills smokes but its kinda immature to do that. That smoking won’t even help you to fix your problem. That won’t make anything better at all. You see the picture?

If only I could turn back time ang say NO  to all I have done wrong. If only I can, I would have done it along time ago.

Another thing we must say NO to are the ones that does not help us onto growing and growing closer to God. Eradicate them.  No need for them to stay and no need for them to be part of you.

I can’t tell more of these because I know you get the whole picture. It is up to you whether what you choose, where you want to be, where you want to go.  As Naruto said “We are the ones who create our won destiny”

“Build a powerful support team and delegate to them”

The title of Principle 41.. Clearly states  a team of your own will be a good idea. No a Great Idea! Imagine your coaching San Antonio Spurs or mentoring a championship team. That’s how it feels! If only I could have my team now. sigh. But for now, being a team member is where I want to be. A team I could get a lot of knowledge, a team I could be worth of and a team I could have fun with. Yes, it is kind of hard to find a team like that. But i will keep on dreaming and strive to be on that team. Or maybe, I am on that team, I just don’t know it.

But oh well, I will just talk of teamwork as to my own judging. Teamwork is the building block of a team. It what makes a team versatile. Without teamwork, you are not a team. You work alone along the way just labeling yourself as a teammate. Might as well work individually. The essence of being a team is on teamwork. The way you respond and the way you execute. But this varies because there are a lot of different forms of team. A family is a team. In a company too, you are a big team. In sports there are a lot of teams. There are also lots of major transactions for them to make their “Dream Team”. Tons and tons of money just to make the deep go better. If only it is also applied in little teams. Wow, I could have been rich. LOL. But to some, the money is not what it is for. It is their passion. Money like I said a million times, is just a side dish in the plate. Passion is the meat or what we call “ulam” in tagalog. It is what makes you full and happy.

Each member of the team has a unique role or some maybe doing it the same. But all pieces must fit. Meaning when you are combined, you compliment well.

but always remember:

“There will always be someone better than you”

The problem of some is the greed for greatness. I can name a few people I know and you know how they pick on some that they are better. Yes, they may be better, but they are not the best. You must always be down to earth and humble. Know limitations and most of all,

be sport.

^^

The legend continues! There will be a Starcraft II. Starcraft Fans will be storming the stores as soon it is released. Now, I’ll talk about Starcraft as far as I know.

Starcraft boomed in the 90’s all over the world. Starcraft features 3 major races. The Terrans, The Zergs, and the Protoss. I can’t confirm the main agenda of these races but all I know is that it is on World ownage. Meaning the strongest remains. Starcraft on just short time, captured the hearts and soul of gamers all over the world. Young and old, girl or boy was playing it. It gave the gaming world a new twist on imagination as well as to the story. The story has a lot of tricks up on its sleeves that surely shocked you as you are trying to play the game. Terrans with Zergs battling Protoss, Zergs teaming up with Protoss to annihilate the Terrans, Protoss-Terrans duo against Zergs, Infested Terrans fighting for Zergs, Heroes of races having a change of heart, the comeback of old heroes and many more. It really shocked me when I played it.The gameplay is a two thumbs-up and sorry to say, Addicting. (Yes even at that time it is even now). Structures and Morphing Creatures to make structures made it real. The beating (like a heartbeat I mean) of the Zergs every structure gave it the impression, WOW. See for yourself.

It was nearly a perfect game on that time. Even now, still a lot of gamers play it. Even though it sort of old school its still the best strategy game for me. Now, the Era of Starcraft is on progress. There will be a sequel to it. Starcraft II. I can’t wait to play it and continue where the story stopped. Surely, its going to be fun.

Raynor, Kerrigan, Duran, and Zeratul, see you soon!

I stop at this Principle blogging about the awesome book of Jack Canfield “The Success Priniciples”. Its been a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong loooooooooooooooooong time since my last post on this category. I am currently reading “The Alladin Factor” by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen. I think it is the sequel of “The Success Principles”. A lot of Chapters of both books have same ideas and some are really the same. But the latter book is more on the importance of asking. Back to topic now.

Time Management has been the most used tactic on businesses, corporations, even at homes and many other aspects. Widely known to be the best solution. I attempted a lot of times to make but I didn’t follow them. ALL. But here I am again. On a move to improve my way of life. That is why I am calling it a shot again.

I received lots of suggestion from people as well from myself. Consistency is key. It means you have to be constant. It has to be a habit for you and it doesn’t mean stagnant. Its is totally different. Stagnant is your just there on the same place without moving. Constant is there is a motion with continuous effort of moving. That is as to my opinion. You could get the idea. If I can make it a habit to blog for 30 days, 30 days only it will be my habit forever. Now, Reading is a habit for me. Even though sometimes I don’t read books on my room, still I read things i come across. Neat isn’ it? Now, Consistency is my main goal. To be consistent on what I must do and I need to do.

1 week again of no posting. hehehehe. Got a lot of things going on my mid nowadays. my uncle got me to thinking on what’s my plan ahead. Well, I can’t blog on anything now might as well blog on these. I don’t what is going to happen to me in the near future but my Goals are firm and I think I can pull them through. I just imagine myself successful. There on my house relaxing (what I love to do), I’m just the guy who calls the big shots on the company. They don’t call me if its not that important. Got a lot of businesses going smoothly attracting bags of money from all over the world. Going leisure trips, in short enjoying life. But for now, I set aside those first for me to really experience them in the future.

My next plan I must/need to accomplish is to transfer to DBTC. Judging from expense and the quality of school, its better there. Actually its cheaper there if I get to be a student assistant. I hope my subjects gets credited so I’ll have less expense. Another plan is my own computer. I am thinking of buying part by part until its complete. SATAs are storming now. I think its better to get those so I won’t change PC for a while at the same time I won’t have difficulty finding parts. My own website and schools tribute website will be released my December when I finish my HTML. This is true now. It will be updated regularly and be maintained. Well, for now that is my chosen path. I can’t wait for next year! I have two well maintained, lots of regular visitors clean and simple websites, Arranging my migrating to another school and a working computer.. ^^
