after I have watched a short movie on simpletruth.com about appreciation, I felt guilty. Its because I am the type of person who is shy on saying thanks or appreciating people specially on my family. Its kind of “not me” I feel. I am also irritated of the side comments.(hehe) But come to think of it, it is just natural to say thank you to people who maid things in favor of you. Appreciating them would make them glad and feel important. You could get closer to them by doing this.

The movie I watch was of a international speaker who was in a seminar with some people, she said, Think of a person you are longing to appreciate, Think of the things they have done for you that made you not ever forget them. At the end of the event, a man was motivated to appreciate that person he said to the speaker. He decided to track down her teacher in literature. When he finally tracked her down, he sent her a letter of appreciation. It wasn’t long when she replied. On the letter she said ” I have never received ANY letter from any of my students before, I just live in a single room and all my family and friends are all gone. I am just alone now. Thanks for making me feel better, I will treasure this and reread this always until I die.

Its kinda sad that we don’t really know how other people feel. Even those ones who are silent and those who are loudly enough and cheerful. We will never know how they really feel. Sometimes they just masked themselves with happiness so that we would not notice their burdens.

Appreciation come from various forms. It could be a simple “thank you” or a simple gift. Its not the tangible things that makes you fell appreciated, Its the moment you stood up or the words you wrote that makes them feel they are recognized.

Its really hard to do but its a necessity I should say. Find time to thank the people who touched your life and say the things you want to say before it too late…

Learn what you need to learn. I got it from a friend. Makes sense to me. A lot of us don’t really know what we really need to learn. We just go to school and go to class and go home. That’s it. Seldom do we demand for knowledge. We think asking for it makes us dumb but in reality, its the opposite.

When I studied my first short course on DBTC, I was  ask by them what I want to learn. I appreciated what they did and seldom would anyone offer that. It is nice to study in class that you are interested in. It gives you more excitement because you want to learn that.  Its a powerful tool you can use. Asking is the key. Of course ask those with the knowledge. Maybe you want to learn how to dance and you ask a plumber how. Learn what you need to learn.

When you found your mentor, follow his advices. For sure, he won’t bring you to any harm and maybe his advices are kinda tough but mentors know best. He is a pro on that league. He knows the pros and cons. Trust him. /no1

Following tips from mentors are tough at first. It requires you to be diligent and more energetic. My mentor wants me to be more energetic (kinda slow in moving) and be mingle with the family.  I lack self motivation and diligence. Treasure valuable advices and be punctual on tasks given. I admit i have not followed some of my mentors tips. That is why I lost valuable wisdom I could have consumed. But its not too late (I think).

I have learned what I need to learn. But I want to learn more.

Say No to the Good so you can say Yes to the Great.

We can never know the great things in life if we would just settle for good things. If you can achieve higher than being good, Why not hustle for it? If you know good things but you have greater ideas, why not try it? You can never know how great you are if you are contented with being good. Maybe the risks of being great are bigger but if you succeed, you will be filled with overflowing happiness. Don’t you want to feel that?

Abraham Lincoln said “Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle”. As to my understanding to this quote, good things come to those who wait. But GREAT things come upon to those who hustle. There is a huge gap on greatness and being good. Greatness come upon those who threw up being good.

We need water all our life. We use it when we take a bath, cook, wash dishes, wash our clothes etc. when we drink it, we feel refreshened it eases our tire. Its the fuel of the body. It cleanses the body. Water also is a habitat. A home for fishes, crustaceans, corals and many more. It can also be a source of electricity. Falls, dams are being used to supply electricity for the city. In total, water is huge part of our lives.

Water is one of the primary reasons why living things on Earth live. It covers 71% of the Earth’s surface. Its chemical formula is h2o meaning 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom. Many water resources now are being poisoned. Because of the careless throwing of garbages to rivers, sewages, irrigation and other water lanes. Because of these garbages, the circulation of water is being stationary and causes floods on low places.

Will there be a time that seas be dry, rivers empty? Could there be a time that Water will be bought expensively. We will have limited source. What you think? Will these things happening now make us suffer soon? You judge.

If you have read my previous blog, its been 5yrs since i left Don Bosco, but now, Its the return of the comeback! I’m going back there to study. My course is Computer repair and maintenance. Its not credited for my college but it worth it. I want to help my uncle to put up his website. my next tutorial would be web page design. pls visit his sit here. I’m so excited now to go there. a feeling i felt before. i feeling that’s a pleasure to the heart. I’m so glad i had this opportunity again. Its an honor for me study there again. Its a dream come true.

many nights that i have been dreaming playing with my old classmates, eating at the canteen. i think its not a coincidence. i think its destined to for me. its clear to me now that the saying is true, “once a bosconian, always a bosconian”

Is it a only a dream? or reality?

Many nights i will sleep soundly, when i wake up, a feel glad, is it because of a dream? maybe, ive dreaming lately, of playing with my old pals in Don Bosco, believe it or not. I just dont know what to say, is it a calling for me? i cant belive it myself, what does these dreams mean? i’ve always loved Don Bosco, is he calling me? I sure loved to study there! its been many years since i left Don Bosco now. if I stand correct its been 5yrs now.  Studying in Don Bosco in Tarlac was a memorable one for me. I met nice friends, teachers, and other stuffs. a wonderful experience that left a mark in my heart. after finishing my studies at Tarlac State University-Laboratory school, im off to college! ah, no. hehe.

i’ll be starting my tutorial tomorrow at Don Bosco Technical College Mandaluyong. I dont know what to say, its just, overwhelming.
