EN OW stands for NO(hehehehe) . I just made the the title a little twist to make it catchy. I know a lot of my blogs aren’t that interesting (T_T). But for the sake of expressing myself (which is that counts) I’ll do it. I am aware that all my writings have the same approach. Yah, feel tired of repeating the same tactic. I will just try my best for the next ones to be more interesting so better stay tuned. (LOL)

It is so hard for some of us to say no  on things we know are wrong but we like doing them (got it?). Habits that bring us temporary happiness. Because a lot of us are lonely inside, calling for somebody to make us feel better. This is where the things we thought are “good friends”. Alcohol and cigarettes are to name a few. A have a friend who is not a smoker but because a broken heart (LOL) he tried smoking. Now, I don’t know if he stills smokes but its kinda immature to do that. That smoking won’t even help you to fix your problem. That won’t make anything better at all. You see the picture?

If only I could turn back time ang say NO  to all I have done wrong. If only I can, I would have done it along time ago.

Another thing we must say NO to are the ones that does not help us onto growing and growing closer to God. Eradicate them.  No need for them to stay and no need for them to be part of you.

I can’t tell more of these because I know you get the whole picture. It is up to you whether what you choose, where you want to be, where you want to go.  As Naruto said “We are the ones who create our won destiny”

“Build a powerful support team and delegate to them”

The title of Principle 41.. Clearly states  a team of your own will be a good idea. No a Great Idea! Imagine your coaching San Antonio Spurs or mentoring a championship team. That’s how it feels! If only I could have my team now. sigh. But for now, being a team member is where I want to be. A team I could get a lot of knowledge, a team I could be worth of and a team I could have fun with. Yes, it is kind of hard to find a team like that. But i will keep on dreaming and strive to be on that team. Or maybe, I am on that team, I just don’t know it.

But oh well, I will just talk of teamwork as to my own judging. Teamwork is the building block of a team. It what makes a team versatile. Without teamwork, you are not a team. You work alone along the way just labeling yourself as a teammate. Might as well work individually. The essence of being a team is on teamwork. The way you respond and the way you execute. But this varies because there are a lot of different forms of team. A family is a team. In a company too, you are a big team. In sports there are a lot of teams. There are also lots of major transactions for them to make their “Dream Team”. Tons and tons of money just to make the deep go better. If only it is also applied in little teams. Wow, I could have been rich. LOL. But to some, the money is not what it is for. It is their passion. Money like I said a million times, is just a side dish in the plate. Passion is the meat or what we call “ulam” in tagalog. It is what makes you full and happy.

Each member of the team has a unique role or some maybe doing it the same. But all pieces must fit. Meaning when you are combined, you compliment well.

but always remember:

“There will always be someone better than you”

The problem of some is the greed for greatness. I can name a few people I know and you know how they pick on some that they are better. Yes, they may be better, but they are not the best. You must always be down to earth and humble. Know limitations and most of all,

be sport.

^^

I stop at this Principle blogging about the awesome book of Jack Canfield “The Success Priniciples”. Its been a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong loooooooooooooooooong time since my last post on this category. I am currently reading “The Alladin Factor” by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen. I think it is the sequel of “The Success Principles”. A lot of Chapters of both books have same ideas and some are really the same. But the latter book is more on the importance of asking. Back to topic now.

Time Management has been the most used tactic on businesses, corporations, even at homes and many other aspects. Widely known to be the best solution. I attempted a lot of times to make but I didn’t follow them. ALL. But here I am again. On a move to improve my way of life. That is why I am calling it a shot again.

I received lots of suggestion from people as well from myself. Consistency is key. It means you have to be constant. It has to be a habit for you and it doesn’t mean stagnant. Its is totally different. Stagnant is your just there on the same place without moving. Constant is there is a motion with continuous effort of moving. That is as to my opinion. You could get the idea. If I can make it a habit to blog for 30 days, 30 days only it will be my habit forever. Now, Reading is a habit for me. Even though sometimes I don’t read books on my room, still I read things i come across. Neat isn’ it? Now, Consistency is my main goal. To be consistent on what I must do and I need to do.

Finally, I finished the book I was reading the “The Success Principles”. It was made from The Aladdin Factor in my opinion although I am not yet finish reading it. Its stories are made up of short but uplifting and inspiring stories coming from all over the world. Jack maintained his usual simplicity and diverted it to a more understandable and easy to read book.

The book tackles most on how you have what you want, go from where you are to where you want to go. Definitely you know that it talks about success. As from the title itself its stated. Its cover page is also simple. white all over from front to back with only Jack leaning to the letters of title. Its kinda thick but its reading it is worth it.

At the 1st Principle, I was totally magnetized to reading it for more. Taking 100% responsibility of your life was it. Truly, you must take 100%, not 99% not 99.9%. You must give up complaining and blaming others. Take the blame for your errors. It takes a man to admit his mistake and it takes courage to tell you are the one to blame. I grew more interested to this book on the following Principles. The first parts discusses about attitude and how to view life. Before, I was a spoonfed guy and a happy-go-lucky one but now, I take it seriously, I want to achieve my BIG dreams.

This books helps you on your difficulties and gives advices and recommendation that are so powerful to use. I want to develop now is the refusal to temptation and overcome my laziness. Most of the time, when no one is guarding me, I tend to just play and don’t do my chores. It always come to my mind that I must do things but I set aside them and follow the not so good one. Cramming also became a habit for me since I started High School. Like now I am cramming on my due date.

All in all this book is influential and I am working on my shortcomings. I really want to achieve higher than I expect and help my family along the way. I want to buy Lola a new Computer and help my parents on financial needs. Especially our house. It was only loaned payable it 25 yrs i think. That’s gonna be a lot to pay I think. I also want to help Lola Taba. On her age, she must have just relax and enjoy, but she’s not. I also want to help my cousins to have their permanent job or even graduate college. Maybe start their business too. I also plan to help the poor.

I Pray to God I will achieve them. ^^

I like this rule of 5. Jack is right. sustained effort and whole lot of heart will carry you to success. Let’s say that you save 25pesos in 5 years. when you reach 5 years from now you will get P45500! Pretty amazing! With just small efforts, it bloomed into a gigantic saving. I myself started. I save P30 a day. A pretty simple concept but has strong impact on your financial or even on other stuffs.

All of us have our own fears. Some are really scary and some are weird. Phobia is a dislike of something. As for me, I am afraid of… frogs! It started out when I was 4yrs old I think. Frogs were coming in our sala. At first I wasn’t afraid of them (AFAIR). But one day,(I don’t know what we were playing but I know I went on the end of the couch) I was looking if anybody sees me but to my surprise, someone is looking at me… A frog! I saw the frog beside my feet jumping facing the wall! That is what started my fear on frogs. The way they look at you and those crooked skin. It makes me chill! I don’t know how will I overcome this fear but I hope I will

Do you the story of the 8 piston engine of Henry Ford? At first when it was not yet invented engineers of Henry says it is impossible to make it. But what Henry did was pursue the experiment. After months and years of experimenting, all hardships came out wasted. It is impossible to make it says his engineers. Henry persisted that they will make it. No matter how long it will take them they will make it. He leaned on to his plan. Even though there is no assurance that they will succeed. No clear sight of the future. But with God’s grace along with determination they manage to make the first 8 piston engine. Soon it became famous and was imitated by others.

Like Henry Ford, I have a plan too. But it is not a 10 piston engine. It is a one-man-team to build his dream computer. I will cling to my idea of studying while earning. I won’t give up. I know there are a lot more inspiring stories than Ford’s. A lot more burden they carried before but heads up they faced. I too want to work hard for something I really desire. I want to feel proud of myself that I have gained something on my own. It is going to be a big achievement for me and I hope I would get it asap or hustle for it till got gives it to me.

“Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle” -Abraham Lincoln

All my life I just waited for things to come to me. I am a spoon-feed kid. My assignments, projects, things I do (mostly, they always change my answers because there is something wrong and they say theirs is better) I just slouch around and wait for the guava to drop. Maybe this is the cause now of my slowness and laziness or is it just me. The universe rewards those who act. It is definitely true. Nothing will happen to you if you just sit there. You must act in order to get what you want. Be active! Act on the things you want to achieve. Believe you can do them without doubts. Quit waiting for chances! Find them! Even if the chances are sitting right beside you, You wouldn’t know that it is chance right? (did you get that?).

Quit waiting for the right moment! I don’t believe in that. Every moment is the right moment if you want that moment to be the right moment. It is really up to you. You must act! I know a girl who waits for the right moment, well I think she is just playing safe because of an earlier heartbreak. Now she has a new suitor, right from the start I had a hunch that she likes him. Yeah, I always tell her that. But she keeps denying. Now, She admits she likes the gut. But sadly, The guy I think thought twice now. Because my friend sort of tested him. Now, she plays peter pan. “You will only see the full beauty of a sun when it is swallowed by the sea” sa tagalog “Malalaman mo lang kung gaano kahalaga ang isang tao o bagay kapag wala na ito sa iyo”

I always here girls say “kung siya talaga, siya talaga” They have a lot of pride inside them. Maybe that is the thing I am feel weird about girls. Maybe now she learns her lesson. “Hindi ninyo kasi alam kung gaano kahirap maghintay eh”.

Hustle like there is no tomorrow, Live like it will be your last day, Follow your heart. It will lead you to the thing you want most. If and only if you act on it.

I always see my cousins Iani and Tesa playing with their toys. Yes, you would say, it is typical for kids, but an unusual thing they do while playing is they pretend to be someone or something with whole heart. Yeah, when Tesa says she is a frog, she sits and jump and imitates the sound of a frog. When Iani pretends to be an elephant, She stomps all over the sofa and growls like it. They live their fantasies. That is a good start for them. They act as if what they want to be. When I ask them what are they doing they will say, “sshh kuya Kirby we are just pretending”

I remember when I was about 5 or 6 yrs old. We were pretending to be BackStreet Boys. hahaha. Those were the good old days with my friend Rens. We would come down our stairs at our old house at Ligtasan and singing “I want it that way” while making a hand gestures. We had a mirror at the bottom of the stairs and we could clearly see what we look like. We even have sunglasses sometimes. I could still remember how I feel when pretending. I feel like one of the BackStreet Boys and we are singing on a live audience. I feel I am known all over the world. How nice to feel that again. You feel the depth even though its just fantasy.

Now, tides have changed. We don’t like backstreet boys anymore. We have our own goals and roads to polish. We have our own “pretending” now. I hope it would be a help for us what we have been doing when we were young and carry it until now.

“I envision my dream for it to be real”. That is what Jack Canfield says. I totally 100% agree with him. I visualize almost everything I want. The first on my list is to assemble my own personal computer. I visualize my gigabyte motherboard with an Intel quad core2 duo processor with 160 gigabyte hard disk with a Samsung LCD monitor and a DVD combo. Any of you would sure like that. And I want to achieve that  before my 22nd birthday. Yes, I gave myself 5 years and besides, I don’t work yet. Well if I could have it earlier I would. I accept donations! (just joking…. but if you want to help me then it is a two thumbs-up). Second is study while I earn money. Wow, hows that. I think my vocational course will do the trick. I could also save some for college. Even if I just earn P20 a day it will be 36500 in 5 yrs! More than enough to buy me my desired personal computer.

I am just showing you how visualization work. With positive thoughts and positive mental attitude, you will see your future brightly.
